General Shipping Overview

Krand Education offers two primary product categories: General Product Line (in-stock items shipped from U.S. domestic warehouses) and Custom Product Line (made-to-order project furniture).

All General Product Line orders follow standardized shipping rates, delivery rules, and surcharge policies listed below. All Custom Product Line orders require individualized project confirmation, including production lead time and final freight cost.

We reserve the right to select the shipping carrier and delivery method for all orders at our sole discretion. Special delivery services including lift gate delivery, inside building drop-off, and residential site delivery will incur extra shipping and handling surcharges. Separately negotiated bulk or project shipping contracts override all standard shipping policy provisions.

General Product Line Shipping – Contiguous 48 United States

General Product Line shipments are categorized as small parcel shipments or large LTL freight shipments based on product dimensions, weight, and specifications. Mixed parcel and freight orders will accrue corresponding shipping fees for each product type.

Free Standard Parcel Shipping Eligibility

Small parcel General Product Line items qualify for complimentary standard shipping when the post-discount merchandise subtotal is **$69 or more**. Free shipping is calculated exclusively on qualifying in-stock merchandise after all applicable discounts. Orders below $69 will incur a flat shipping charge of $11.95.

Standard Parcel Shipping Rates

Non-qualifying standard parcel shipments will be charged 20% of the post-discount subtotal, with a minimum shipping fee of $11.95 per order.

Large Freight Shipping Rates (General Line)

Oversized furniture items shipped via LTL freight will be charged 20% of the post-discount subtotal, with a minimum freight charge of $99 per order.

For any General Product Line freight order exceeding $1,000 after discount, please contact our team for a customized freight quote before finalizing your purchase.

Custom Product Line Delivery & Freight Policy

All Custom Product Line furniture is fully customized according to client specifications, including custom sizing, colors, structural modifications, and full institutional project solutions.

Custom Delivery Lead Time

There is no fixed standard lead time for custom orders. Final production and delivery schedules are confirmed case-by-case through project communication, determined by project scale, order quantity, production arrangement, and the customer’s required delivery deadline.

Custom Freight Cost Rules (Updated Official Terms)

Custom order shipping fees are fully flexible and project-based, calculated according to actual shipping factors including total cargo weight, product volume, order quantity, packaging specifications, and final delivery location.

• Custom freight charges may be billed as a separate standalone fee or included within the total project order amount, based on mutual confirmation between Krand Education and the customer.
• All custom freight costs are finalized and confirmed during project quotation, prior to production initiation.
• No standardized preset shipping percentages or flat rates apply to Custom Product Line orders.

Mixed Orders (General + Custom Products)

Orders containing both in-stock General items and made-to-order Custom items will ship separately under independent shipping terms:

• General Product Line items ship per our standard warehouse shipping rules and standard freight rates.
• Custom Product Line items ship according to confirmed project lead time and individualized freight pricing.
• Separate shipping charges will apply for each shipment.

Additional Special Delivery Surcharges

Special delivery services require advanced quote confirmation and may include additional fees for:

• Lift gate service for locations without loading docks
• Inside building / classroom delivery
• Remote or rural zone delivery surcharges
• After-hours or scheduled weekend delivery appointments

Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii

APO / FPO / DPO Military Addresses

General Product Line shipments to military addresses follow contiguous U.S. standard shipping pricing via USPS. Oversized items exceeding USPS dimensional limits require alternate arrangements. All Custom military deliveries require prior custom logistics confirmation.

General Shipping Terms & Customer Responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for on-site unloading assistance for standard LTL deliveries unless premium lift gate or inside delivery services are purchased.
• Return shipping costs for warranty service, exchanges, or refused deliveries are the responsibility of the purchaser.
• All custom and large-order freight quotes are valid for 30 days from issuance.
